President Mirziyoyev Hails Historic Border Treaty

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The President of Uzbekistan warmly congratulated the brotherly nations on the occasion of Navruz and Eid al-Fitr, emphasizing the spirit of unity and renewal.
Speaking at a significant event, the President highlighted the signing of a historic Treaty on the Junction Point of the State Borders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan. He noted that from now on, borders will serve as lines of brotherhood, fostering new opportunities, creativity, and regional integration.
The President stressed that the three nations share a common land, faith, and destiny. He called for collective efforts to build a prosperous and dignified future for both current and future generations.
In recent years, political cooperation among the three countries has deepened, leading to remarkable progress in trade, investment, transportation, and people-to-people exchanges. The Treaty on Allied Relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan has officially come into effect, and a similar agreement with Kyrgyzstan is expected to be signed soon.
During discussions, leaders reached agreements on:

✔️ Increasing direct flights and launching new bus routes
✔️ Organizing regular cultural festivals, youth forums, and sports competitions
The President concluded by celebrating the role of art and culture in uniting nations, emphasizing that the concert featuring talented artists from the three countries showcased the richness and shared heritage of the region.
