Karakalpakstan

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The annual open dialogue between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the nation’s entrepreneurs will take place in the Republic of Karakalpakstan this year, as per a resolution issued by the President on May 30.

The resolution states, “Please note that an open dialogue between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and entrepreneurs in 2024 will be held in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.” This event is part of President Mirziyoyev’s ongoing efforts to engage directly with the business community, addressing their concerns and facilitating the development of a conducive environment for entrepreneurship.

The Republican Commission for Organizing Open Dialogue has been tasked with submitting a draft decision to the Presidential Administration within three days after the event. This draft will outline the implementation of the tasks identified during the meetings. Furthermore, proposals regarding the location and date of the subsequent year’s event must be submitted to the administration by July 15 annually.

In preparation for the dialogue, the republican headquarters will organize a round-the-clock reception of requests from entrepreneurs. These requests will be forwarded to expert groups and regional working groups for consideration and response.

Last year, President Mirziyoyev’s meeting with entrepreneurs was held on August 18, marking a significant engagement where various issues faced by the business community were discussed and addressed.

The upcoming dialogue in Karakalpakstan underscores the government’s commitment to fostering open communication with entrepreneurs and supporting the growth of the private sector across Uzbekistan.
