President of Kazakhstan Attends Supreme Eurasian Economic Council Meeting
Moscow, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, participated in a narrow-format meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council held in Moscow on Wednesday, as reported by media outlets.
Joining President Tokayev at the prestigious gathering were distinguished leaders including the Prime Minister of Armenia and Chairman of the Council, Nikol Pashinyan, President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, and President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Zhaparov. Additionally, Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), was also in attendance.
The assembled heads of state engaged in comprehensive discussions concerning the primary objectives and pivotal areas of further cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Deliberations encompassed a wide array of topics pertinent to the EEU’s mandate, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing economic integration, fostering trade relations, and enhancing regional cooperation.
Furthermore, the esteemed leaders exchanged perspectives on specific aspects of the EEC’s operational activities, underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts in realizing the organization’s objectives and promoting mutual prosperity among member states.
As the meeting concluded, President Tokayev and his counterparts departed with a renewed sense of dedication to the principles of solidarity, mutual respect, and cooperation, reaffirming their collective resolve to uphold the goals and values of the Eurasian Economic Union for the collective benefit of all member nations.
