President of Singapore Halimah Yacob to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President of Singapore Halimah Yacob, at the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan from 23 to 25 May. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore.

This will be the first state visit of the President of Singapore to Uzbekistan.

As part of the visit, Halimah Yacob will meet with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The head of Singapore will also meet with business representatives from Singapore and Uzbekistan at a joint business forum and visit the Academy of Public Administration.

Halimah Yacob will also visit Samarkand, where, among other things, she will meet with the khokim of Samarkand region Erkinjon Turdimov.
