President Serdar Berdimuhamedov Receives Honorary Title and Holds Cabinet Meeting
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, during which several key issues of state governance and national development were discussed.
Chairwoman of the Mejlis, D. Gulmanova, was the first to address the session, reporting on efforts to further improve Turkmenistan’s national legislation. She highlighted the development of bills aimed at protecting citizens’ rights and freedoms, promoting political, economic, and cultural progress, enhancing living standards, and legally supporting the country’s international initiatives. She also noted that existing laws are being updated with necessary additions and amendments to reflect current realities.
During the meeting, Chairwoman Gulmanova read out the Resolution of the Mejlis conferring upon President Serdar Berdimuhamedov the honorary title of «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan arhitektory».
Following the Cabinet session, a solemn ceremony was held to formally present the honorary title to the President. The event was attended by the Chairwoman of the Mejlis, Deputy-Chairmen of the Cabinet, and heads of military and law enforcement agencies. Participants warmly congratulated the President and extended their best wishes on the occasion of the Day of Workers of Public Health Services and the Medical Industry.
The ceremony also highlighted the successful implementation of the town-planning program for the development of Ashgabat, initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and carried forward under President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. In recent years, both the capital and regions across the country have witnessed the realization of unique projects contributing to the modern urban landscape.
Alongside urban development, significant attention is being given to modernizing the national public health system, including the construction of medical facilities in Ashgabat and throughout the country, under the state program «Saglyk», developed under the leadership of Hero-Arkadag.
President Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude for the honorary title «Türkmenistanyň at gazanan arhitektory», extended congratulations to all public health workers on their professional day, and wished everyone continued success in contributing to the prosperity of Turkmenistan.
