President Shavkat Mirziyoyev Honoured with Turkmenistan’s Highest State Award for Advancing Regional Cooperation

Avaza, The Gulf Observer: In a moment of high diplomatic recognition, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was conferred the Order “Hyzmatdaşlygy ösdürmäge goşandy üçin” (“For Contribution to the Development of Cooperation”) during an official ceremony held in Avaza, on the sidelines of the preparations for the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.

The prestigious award was presented by Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who read aloud the official Decree of the President of Turkmenistan conferring the honour.

President Mirziyoyev received the state award in recognition of his personal commitment to fostering bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, and for his role in strengthening friendship, brotherhood, and mutually beneficial cooperation between the Turkmen and Uzbek peoples. His efforts have also been credited with enhancing Turkmenistan’s international stature through his regional and international leadership.

The ceremonial presentation underscores the growing solidarity and shared vision among Central Asian nations as they continue to deepen diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties in pursuit of regional prosperity and stability.
