President Tokayev Attends National Flag Raising Ceremony on Republic Day

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev participated in the National Flag raising ceremony dedicated to Republic Day, as reported by Akorda. The ceremony commenced with a formal report to the President by the Chief of the Guard of Honor Company.

Following this, the National Flag was raised, accompanied by the performance of the National Anthem. In his remarks during the solemn event, President Tokayev emphasized that the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Kazakhstan is a pivotal moment that marks the beginning of the nation’s sacred Independence.

The flag-raising ceremony officially launched the celebrations for Republic Day, which will be commemorated nationwide, with similar ceremonies scheduled to take place in all regions of the country.
