President Tokayev congratulates Emir of Qatar on national holiday

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram of congratulations to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, according to media reports.

The President congratulated Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and the people of Qatar on their national holiday.

“Today, your country, which has ensured the progressive development of its economy, has achieved wide recognition both at the regional and global levels as an authoritative member of the international community. This is evidenced by your peacekeeping initiatives and international events. I wish that, under your wise leadership, the country will continue to follow the path of prosperity and the achievement of the highest goals. I note with satisfaction that Qatar has become one of Kazakhstan’s key and reliable partners in the Arab world, and our constructive and meaningful relations have strengthened significantly. “I confirm my readiness to further enhance bilateral cooperation in the spirit of traditional friendship and brotherhood for the benefit of our peoples,” the telegram says.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani success in his responsible activities, and prosperity to the people of Qatar.
