President Tokayev Congratulates Nation on Kazakhstan’s Independence Day

Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Monday extended his congratulations to the people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day, emphasizing the historic significance of the holiday and reaffirming the nation’s commitment to its sovereign path of development, Akorda reported.
In his congratulatory message, President Tokayev noted that Independence holds special importance for the Kazakhstani people, who made a voluntary and definitive choice in favor of building an independent state. “Independence is above all else. Firmly adhering to this principle is our historical responsibility to past and future generations,” he said.
The President highlighted that through unity, mutual support, and the creative labor of citizens, as well as stability and harmony in society, Kazakhstan has achieved notable progress in strengthening its independence. He observed that the world is undergoing rapid changes, entering a new historical era marked by complex challenges as well as emerging opportunities.
In this context, President Tokayev called on the nation to look to the future with optimism and hope, stressing the importance of unity and joint efforts to enhance Kazakhstan’s competitiveness and standing on the global stage, and to transform the country into a prosperous state.
He also expressed confidence that the large-scale reforms currently being implemented would lead Kazakhstan to continued success. By consistently pursuing a strategic course of comprehensive modernization, he said, the country will build a “Just, Strong, Clean, and Safe Kazakhstan.”
