President Tokayev Expresses Gratitude to Teachers on Professional Holiday

Astana, The Gulf Observer: Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended his heartfelt congratulations to teachers across the country on their professional holiday, acknowledging their dedication and hard work in shaping the nation’s future. This message of appreciation was conveyed through the Akorda press service, as reported by NHC.
In his remarks, President Tokayev underscored the significant efforts undertaken by the government to strengthen the education sector. He highlighted the adoption of a special law titled “On the Status of a Teacher,” which is designed to protect the rights and legal interests of educators. The president emphasized that this legislation has been instrumental in improving the welfare of teachers, including a notable increase in their wages.
Additionally, President Tokayev referenced the establishment of the prestigious “Kazakhstannyn Enbek Sinirgen Ustazy” state award, a title granted in recognition of exemplary service in the field of education. To date, 46 teachers have received this distinguished honor.
Further demonstrating the government’s commitment to education, the president announced that approximately 16,000 grants were allocated this year to support the training and development of future educators.
