Astana, The Gulf Observer: Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended warm congratulations to the people of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the Day of Gratitude, according to the Akorda press service.

In his congratulatory message, the President underscored the enduring values of mutual respect, compassion, and solidarity as the cornerstone of national unity. He emphasized that gratitude is not merely a formality but a moral commitment to support one another, particularly in challenging times.

“To be grateful to the people around you means being ready to help them in difficult times and to offer them spiritual support. In these troubled times, such a tradition is especially important,” the Head of State stated.

President Tokayev highlighted the importance of expressing appreciation to the older generation for safeguarding the country during years of hardship. He also extended gratitude to teachers, doctors, cultural workers, entrepreneurs, police officers, firefighters, and all citizens who contribute to Kazakhstan’s development through honest labor.

Special recognition was given to young people and volunteers for their active civic engagement and willingness to assist those in need. The President described their actions as a reflection of responsible patriotism and a source of optimism for the nation’s future.

The Head of State further noted that Kazakhstan is currently undergoing a historic transformation. He referenced the new draft Constitution, submitted for a national referendum, which aims to strengthen the protection of human rights, enhance government accountability, and reinforce the country’s independence and sovereignty.

“The new Constitution is a solid foundation for our future, which we are building together,” he remarked.

President Tokayev stressed that the successful implementation of the proposed reforms will depend on unity, maturity, and civic responsibility. He reaffirmed that by adhering to the principles of Law and Order, solidarity, unity, and respect for traditions, Kazakhstan can build what he described as a “Strong, Just, Clean, and Progressive Kazakhstan.”

Concluding his message, the President expressed confidence that through solidarity and trust, the country will reach new heights of national prosperity, wishing all citizens well-being and continued success.
