President Tokayev Meets UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs
Astana, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Mohamed Bin Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defense Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Akorda press service reported on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in the fields of military education and security. President Tokayev highlighted the UAE’s achievements in the defense industry and underscored the importance of exchanging experience in advanced technologies and innovations.
The Head of State also noted the dynamic development of relations between Astana and Abu Dhabi across all sectors and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness to further strengthen the bilateral strategic partnership.
For his part, Minister Al Mazrouei conveyed greetings from UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to President Tokayev. He expressed confidence that his visit would provide a new impetus to cooperation between the two countries in the military sector.
