President Tokayev Participates in Informal Meeting of Central Asian Leaders Ahead of UN LLDC Conference

Awaza, The Gulf Observer: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in an informal meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia, according to the Akorda press service, Kazinform News Agency reported.
The informal gathering was held ahead of the official opening ceremony of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), taking place at the Awaza Congress Center in Turkmenistan.
The Central Asian leaders engaged in discussions on key areas for enhancing regional cooperation. The talks focused on strengthening political dialogue, boosting economic collaboration, and addressing shared challenges facing the region’s landlocked countries.
Earlier in the day, President Tokayev arrived at the Awaza Congress Center to participate in the official welcoming ceremony for the heads of delegations attending the global conference.
The informal meeting served as a platform for reinforcing the spirit of regional unity and coordination, as Central Asian nations continue to work together in pursuit of sustainable development, connectivity, and regional prosperity.
