Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed Vanuatu Prime Minister Charlot Salwai to Beijing on Friday, emphasizing Vanuatu’s significant role as a steadfast friend and partner of China in the Pacific Islands region.

During their meeting at the Great Hall of the People, President Xi highlighted China’s commitment to fostering peaceful coexistence and mutual development in the Pacific Islands.
