Presidents Aliyev and Lukashenko Visit Shusha City

Shusha, The Gulf Observer: Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Aleksandr Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, conducted a tour of the city of Shusha, as reported by media sources. During their visit, the heads of state inspected the first residential complex in Shusha, where they were briefed on the newly established living conditions by Aydin Karimov, Special Representative of the President in the Shusha district.

The residential complex spans nearly 8 hectares and consists of 23 buildings. Its foundation was laid on August 29, 2021, and the complex now boasts 450 apartments, including 28 one-room, 195 two-room, 190 three-room, 30 four-room, and 7 five-room units. The inaugural ceremony for the residential complex took place on May 10, with President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva in attendance.

As per the relocation schedule, 58 families, totaling 224 individuals, have already moved into the new complex, reflecting the significant progress in the redevelopment of Shusha.
