Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim Accepts Invitation to Deliver Lecture at Oxford University

Kuala Lumpur, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has accepted an invitation from the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) to visit Oxford University and deliver a lecture at a mutually convenient time.
In a Facebook post, Anwar stated that he received the invitation during a courtesy call from the OCIS Board of Trustees at Seri Perdana, Putrajaya, on Monday, September 29.
The delegation was led by Dr. Abdullah Gul, former President of Türkiye; Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Sabah, former Prime Minister of Kuwait; Dr. Farhan Nizami, Director of OCIS; and Datuk Dr. Afifi al-Akiti, OCIS fellow.
Prime Minister Anwar noted that the discussions focused on the development of economic affairs and international relations within the Islamic world, particularly in promoting dialogue between the Islamic world and the West and enhancing the understanding of Islamic economics and markets.
