Prime Minister of Qatar Meets with Iranian President to Discuss Bilateral Relations
Tehran, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, held a high-level meeting with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, on Monday.
At the outset of the meeting, Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman conveyed the warm greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to President Pezeshkian, along with his wishes for continued development and prosperity for the Iranian people. In response, President Pezeshkian extended his heartfelt greetings to His Highness the Amir, expressing wishes for His Highness’s good health and happiness and for the Qatari people’s sustained progress and prosperity.
The discussions between the two leaders focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing key developments in the region. Both sides underscored the importance of maintaining security and stability in the region, expressing their commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at achieving these goals.
The meeting was attended by a lineup of Their Excellencies members of the official Qatari delegation accompanying Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, alongside a number of esteemed ministers and senior officials from the Iranian side.
