Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Visits Saudi Athletes Ahead of 33rd Summer Olympic Games

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and head of the delegation to the 33rd Summer Olympic Games, paid a visit to the nation’s athletes at their accommodation on Thursday, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
Saudi Arabia will be represented by ten athletes—seven men and three women—competing in four sports: athletics, equestrian, swimming, and taekwondo.
During his address to the athletes, Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the significance of their first Olympic participation, describing it as a pivotal milestone in their careers. He expressed confidence in their ability to perform admirably and bring pride to Saudi Arabia on the global stage.
“Their first Olympic participation marks a significant step in their careers,” said Prince Abdulaziz, emphasizing the importance of their efforts and the nation’s support. He assured the athletes that their dedication and hard work would resonate as they represent Saudi Arabia at the world’s premier sporting event.
