Qatar Condemns Israeli Actions and Warns of Escalatory Policies

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The State of Qatar has condemned in the strongest terms the recent actions of the Israeli Minister of National Security, who stormed the blessed Al Aqsa Mosque under the protection of occupation authorities. The condemnation also extends to the Israeli Knesset’s approval of a draft law rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian state.
In a statement issued today, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed grave concerns about the continuation of the Israeli government’s escalatory policies in the occupied Palestinian territories. The Ministry warned that these actions are exacerbating violence in the region and undermining efforts towards a two-state solution, which is crucial for achieving a comprehensive, just, and sustainable peace.
The Ministry emphasized that repeated attempts to undermine the religious and historical status of the Al Aqsa Mosque constitute an attack not only on Palestinians but also on more than two billion Muslims worldwide. The statement underscores Qatar’s commitment to addressing these developments and advocating for the protection of sacred sites and the pursuit of a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
