Qatar participates in NATO meeting
Brussels, The Gulf Observer: The State of Qatar participated in the meeting of the NATO Nuclear Non-Proliferation Committee, which was held at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.
The State of Qatar was represented at the meeting by Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the European Union and NATO H E Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to nuclear non-proliferation and the prohibition of weapons of mass destruction, in addition to exchanging views on the Preparatory Committee for the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty for the year 2023.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Al Malki met with US Special Representative of the President for Nuclear Nonproliferation Adam Scheinman, and US Permanent Representative to the Conference on Disarmament Bruce Turner.
