Qatar, Thailand Sign Agreement on Visa Exemption for Diplomatic and Official Passport Holders

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Thailand have signed an agreement to exempt holders of diplomatic, official, and special passports from visa requirements, further strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
The agreement was signed by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and Thailand’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Maris Sangiampongsa.
The accord is expected to facilitate official travel and enhance diplomatic engagements between the two countries. It reflects the commitment of both nations to fostering closer cooperation in various fields.
Qatar and Thailand maintain strong diplomatic and economic ties, with cooperation spanning trade, investment, and tourism. The latest visa exemption agreement underscores their shared interest in deepening bilateral relations and promoting ease of movement for government officials and diplomats.
