Qatar, Uzbekistan hold political consultations

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs H E Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan H E Bakhtiyor Saidov, during his current visit to Uzbekistan yesterday.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation and relations between the two countries.

Separately, the third round of political consultations was held yesterday between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent.

The Qatari side was headed by Al Muraikhi, while the Uzbek side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Bahram Aliyev.

During the round of political consultations, they reviewed bilateral cooperation and relations and several issues of mutual interest.
