Qatar’s Hamad International Airport records 29.9% increase in July 22 compared to July 21

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) announced on that aircraft movement at Hamad International Airport (HIA) increased by 29.9 percent in July 2022 compared to the same period in 2021.

A statement from the authority said a year-on-year (YoY) analysis showed that aircraft movement jumped from 14,485 flights in July 2021 to 18,811 in July 2022.

The number of passengers in July 2022 reached 3,642,594 compared to 1,781,753 last year’s July, amounting to a 94.3 percent increase, the statement added.

Meanwhile, air freight and mail were down 8.3 percent from the same month last year.
