Qatar's Amiri Naval Forces celebrate arrival of new Al Abrar ships.

Doha, The Gulf Observer: The Amiri Naval Forces celebrated the arrival of a new class of Al Abrar ships, manufactured by the Turkish Anadolu Shipyard Company.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, H E Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, and in attendance of Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot), H E Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit.

During the ceremony, a video was displayed which embodies the stages of project completion and the stages of practical training.

At the end of the ceremony, Chief of Staff visited Al Abrar ships.

The ceremony was attended by a number of senior officers in the armed forces, a number of representatives of the Turkish Anadolu Shipyard Company, and representatives of Barzan Holding Company.
