Rafah Attack Exposed Israel's True Colours, Says President Erdogan

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday vehemently criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of emulating notorious war criminals such as former Yugoslav leader Slobodan Milosevic, genocide convict Bosnian Serb politician Radovan Karadzic, and late German dictator Adolf Hitler. Erdogan’s remarks came in response to Israel’s recent attack on Rafah, a move that has drawn international condemnation.

“Sunday’s attack on Rafah, which came after the International Court of Justice’s order, has exposed the treacherous and bloody nature of the terror state,” President Erdogan stated. He denounced the Israeli assault on Rafah, previously designated as a “safe area,” highlighting the severe implications of such actions.

In his scathing critique, Erdogan accused Netanyahu of using violent tactics to cling to power amidst internal political struggles. “The embattled Netanyahu and his murderous network are trying to extend their grip on power by massacring people as they fail to defeat Palestinian resistance,” Erdogan declared. He further warned that Netanyahu “won’t be able to save himself from being lamented like Milosevic, Karadzic, and Hitler, who he is imitating.”

Erdogan also underscored Türkiye’s commitment to holding Israel accountable for its actions. “Türkiye will do everything in its power to ensure those barbarians are brought to justice for crimes they committed,” he affirmed, signaling a strong stance against what he described as atrocities committed by the Israeli state.

The Turkish President’s comments have added to the growing international outcry against Israel’s actions in Rafah, reflecting deepening tensions and the urgent call for accountability and justice on the global stage.
