Republic Day Of Kazakhstan Observed

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Pakistan organized a diplomatic reception dedicated to the celebration of the “Republic Day of Kazakhstan”.
The event was attended by the officials of Pakistan Government, both Houses of Parliament, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassadors and Military attaches of friendly countries, as well as the representatives of Kazakhstan diaspora, experts and representatives of Pakistan business community and media organisations.

The Chief Guests of the event was f Mr. Musadiq Masood Malik, Minister of State for Energy, Mr. Abdul Shakoor, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony and Dr. Qibla Ayaz, the Chairman Islamic Ideology Council.

In his welcoming speech the Ambassador Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin noted the importance of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, spoke about the history of the holiday and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev’s initiatives.

Chief guest M.Malik, having greeted all the guests, emphasized the importance of relations between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, the need for their further build up and progressive. The Minister emphasized the special importance of the development of interregional transit and transport infrastructure, the need for its diversification and expansion of Kazakhstan-Pakistan trade and economic ties.
On the occasion, the Rotary Club of Islamabad hosted a charity exhibition of paintings by children with special needs.
