Richarlison boosts Everton’s hopes of remaining in PL after 1-0 victory over Chelsea

LONDON, TGO: Richarlison’s goal and Jordan Pickford’s heroics between the posts breathed life into Everton’s Premier League survival bid as the Toffees beat Chelsea 1-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday.

The two teams clashed in a tightly-contested match that brought them together in the 35 round of the competition, which also saw Tottenham beat Leicester City 3-1.

Everton moved two points from safety with five matches remaining and a game in hand over both Leeds and Burnley, while Chelsea remained third in the standings despite losing to the team managed by its former player and coach, Frank Lampard.
