Romanian Ambassador Dan Stoenescu and PTV Karachi Explore New Horizons of Media Cooperation
Karachi, The Gulf Observer: The Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan, H.E. Dan Stoenescu, met with Mr. Amjad Hussain Shah, General Manager of Pakistan Television (PTV) Karachi, and his dedicated team to discuss opportunities for enhancing media collaboration between Romania and Pakistan.
During the meeting, both sides explored avenues to promote cultural exchange and develop joint broadcasting initiatives aimed at deepening mutual understanding and showcasing the cultural richness of both nations.
Ambassador Stoenescu announced that an agreement between TVR – the Romanian National Television and PTV – Pakistan Television Corporation will soon be signed, marking a significant milestone in bilateral media cooperation. This forthcoming partnership seeks to strengthen people-to-people connections by sharing the artistic, cultural, and social heritage of Romania and Pakistan with broader audiences.
On this occasion, Ambassador Stoenescu also gave an interview to PTV, where he discussed Romania–Pakistan bilateral relations, growing cooperation in culture, education, and trade, as well as the shared values that continue to bring the two nations closer.
“Together, we build bridges through dialogue, culture, and communication,” Ambassador Stoenescu emphasized, highlighting the enduring spirit of friendship and collaboration between Romania and Pakistan.
