In his message, the ambassador congratulated all Pakistanis, describing Eid as a festival of happiness, gratitude, and unity. He expressed hope that the spirit of the blessed occasion would bring people closer together and further strengthen the values of compassion, generosity, and hope.

Highlighting Romania’s tradition of tolerance and mutual respect, Ambassador Stoenescu also drew attention to the historic Carol I Mosque in Constanța, describing it as a unique symbol of harmony and coexistence. He noted that the mosque holds a distinctive place as the only one in the world named after a Christian monarch, King Carol I, reflecting Romania’s respect and recognition for its Muslim community.

The ambassador emphasized that such valuable heritage serves as a reminder that diversity can be a source of strength and that mutual respect has always been an integral part of Romania’s national identity.
