Roscosmos presents commemorative gift to Bahraini Embassy on Bahrain’s National Days

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: The Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) granted a commemorative gift to the Bahraini Embassy in Russia on the occasion of the kingdom’s celebrations of its National Days, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab and Muslim state, founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations, and the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne.

The gift is a photo of the kingdom’s map, themed “This is how Bahrain looks from space”, taken by a Russian spacecraft. Russian cosmonaut, Sergey Vladimirovich Kud-Sverchkov, presented the gift to Bahrain’s Ambassador to Russia, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati, during the embassy’s celebration of the kingdom’s National Days.

The ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the Russian Federal Space Agency for the valuable gift, lauding the strength of the Bahraini-Russian friendship and cooperation relations at all levels, wishing bilateral ties further progress.
