RRM Launches “Blassty,” Morocco’s First Integrated Urban Mobility App

RRM

Rabat, The Gulf Observer: Rabat Région Mobilité (RRM) has launched “Blassty,” the first Moroccan mobile application designed to organize and optimize urban travel in real time across the Rabat–Salé–Temara metropolitan area.

According to an RRM statement, the application has been developed to support Rabat’s transformation into a modern, connected, and fluid capital by offering a simple and intuitive mobility experience. For the first time in Morocco, Blassty brings together all urban transport modes on a single digital platform.

The application enables users to access real-time bus and tramway schedules, calculate travel itineraries, and select the most efficient routes, whether using a single mode of transport or combining several options based on travel time, distance, or cost.

Blassty also allows users to check real-time parking availability, locate and order vélo-taxis, find taxi stations across the metropolitan area, and book airport taxis within a few clicks. In addition, the application provides information on shuttle train schedules serving the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex on match days.

The platform further assists users in discovering Rabat’s key cultural and tourist landmarks through integrated itineraries, enhancing mobility for residents, professionals, and visitors alike. With this initiative, Rabat becomes the first city in Morocco to offer a comprehensive, modern, and reliable digital mobility tool catering to daily, professional, and tourist travel needs.

RRM said the launch aligns with the vision of King Mohammed VI, which emphasizes sustainable mobility, innovation, and the improvement of citizens’ quality of life as central pillars of the Kingdom’s major development projects.

The introduction of Blassty comes at a strategic time as Morocco prepares to host major continental and international events, including the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
