Saudi Arabia Launches Dawli Platform to Boost International Representation
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: In a strategic move to enhance its representation on the global stage, Saudi Arabia unveiled the Dawli Platform on Monday, a digital initiative launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Executive Affairs, Abdulhadi Almansouri, highlighted the platform’s significance in fostering the development of the Saudi diplomatic corps and aligning national capabilities with international opportunities.
Almansouri, addressing the LEAP Tech Conference 2024 in Riyadh, emphasized the unwavering support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for the Saudi diplomatic community. The Dawli Platform is designed to streamline the recruitment process, create a comprehensive database, and establish strategic partnerships to bolster Saudi representation in international organizations.
“The Dawli Platform reflects the keen interest of our leadership in advancing the skills and expertise of our diplomatic corps. It is a testament to the commitment of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to elevate Saudi Arabia’s presence on the global stage,” stated Almansouri.
The platform aims to bridge the gap between national capabilities and job opportunities in international organizations, fostering a dynamic exchange of competencies and experiences. Almansouri outlined the platform’s comprehensive approach, stating, “Dawli will serve as a database to monitor candidates’ applications, from the initial submission to their subsequent employment and training in these institutions.”
Moreover, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs intends to forge strategic partnerships and agreements with other government agencies, facilitating the employment of Saudi competencies in relevant international organizations. This collaborative effort aims to transform Dawli into a unified Saudi platform, promoting seamless coordination and resource optimization.
