Saudi Arabia Participates in International Nuclear Energy Conference

Vienna, The Gulf Observer: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is actively participating in discussions on the challenges and benefits of nuclear energy at an international conference in Vienna, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

Representatives from the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE) are attending the International Conference on Nuclear Knowledge Management and Human Resources Development, which commenced on Monday and will conclude on July 5. Kim Pringle, director of human capacity building at K.A.CARE, emphasized the critical role of knowledge management and human resource development in addressing the sector’s challenges.

Pringle highlighted that Saudi Arabia boasts one of the world’s most transparent and advanced national policies on atomic energy, designed to achieve the sustainable development goals outlined in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

K.A.CARE plays a significant role in developing human capacity within the Kingdom’s energy sector, focusing on supporting educational institutions to train Saudi nationals for the industry.

The conference serves as a platform for international dialogue on nuclear energy, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing its nuclear energy capabilities and contributing to global knowledge and best practices in the field.
