Saudi Cabinet Discusses Efforts to End War in Gaza
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by King Salman, convened on Tuesday to discuss the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to end the war in Gaza and support peace initiatives in Yemen. The Cabinet urged the international community and influential parties to assume responsibility in de-escalating regional tensions to ensure security and stability.
The Council of Ministers also expressed its support for the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion, which deemed the Israeli presence in the occupied Palestinian territories over the past 57 years as illegal. Emphasizing the need for practical and credible steps toward a just and comprehensive resolution of the Palestinian issue, the Kingdom reaffirmed its commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative and international legitimacy resolutions.
Additionally, the Cabinet reviewed the latest developments in the national economy, noting that stable inflation rates, which remain below global targets, are a testament to the strength of the Kingdom’s economy and the effectiveness of measures taken against rising global prices.
The discussions reflect Saudi Arabia’s proactive stance in fostering regional peace and stability while ensuring the resilience and growth of its national economy amidst global challenges.
