Saudi Crown Prince attends Formula E 2023 final
Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman attended on Saturday the final of Formula E race 2023, in in the heart of the Saudi historic capital, Diriyah.
Upon his arrival at the racetrack, he was received by the Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal and several officials. The Saudi national anthem was played before the final.
The Crown Prince greeted the masses and the members of teams participating in the Formula E Diriyah.
It is noteworthy that Formula E has returned to Saudi Arabia for the 5th time, where all 11 teams and 22 drivers are racing in the race titled “CORE Diriyah E-Prix 2023”.
The Formula E race 2023 is being held on a circuit with a length of 2.495 km and 21 turns, Saudi Press Agency confirmed.
The race is enhancing Saudi Arabia’s interest in clean energy, keeping pace with the future towards a sustainable environment.
The racetrack is relying on LED lighting, which have been designed to reduce energy consumption by up to 50%.
