Saudi Crown Prince Holds Talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah II in NEOM

Neom, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman met with King Abdullah II of Jordan at NEOM Palace on Monday for wide-ranging talks focusing on bilateral ties and regional developments.

The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Jordan across various sectors, reaffirming their shared commitment to serving the interests of both nations and peoples, and supporting Arab and Islamic causes.

Regional issues of mutual concern, particularly the ongoing escalation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, featured prominently in the discussions.

The meeting highlighted the depth of Saudi-Jordanian relations and the keenness of both leaderships to enhance collaboration in political, economic, and security spheres.

From the Saudi side, the talks were attended by Emir of Tabuk Prince Fahd bin Sultan; Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal; Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif; Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman; Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi; Public Investment Fund Governor Yasir Al-Rumayyan; Head of General Intelligence Khalid Al-Humaidan; and Chargé d’Affaires at the Saudi Embassy in Jordan Mohammed Munis.

The Jordanian delegation included Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II; Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan; Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi; Director of the King’s Office Eng. Alaa Batayneh; and Director of the Crown Prince’s Office Dr. Zaid Al-Baqain.
