Saudi Defense Minister Visits China for High-Level Defense Talks
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman was warmly received by his Chinese counterpart, Defense Minister Dong Jun, during an official visit to Beijing on Tuesday.
A formal reception was held in honor of Prince Khalid, marking the commencement of his visit. Following the reception, the two defense ministers held a comprehensive discussion session focused on enhancing Saudi-Chinese relations within the framework of their strategic defense partnership.
The ministers reviewed various aspects of their bilateral defense ties and explored ways to strengthen their cooperation. Additionally, they discussed joint coordination efforts aimed at maintaining international peace and security, highlighting the shared commitment of both nations to global stability.
Earlier on Tuesday, Prince Khalid also met with Zhang Youxia, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission. Their discussions centered on bolstering military and defense cooperation, as well as addressing regional and international developments. The meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange views on issues of common interest, further solidifying the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and China.
