Saudi Delegation Visits Azerbaijan to Strengthen Military Education Cooperation
Baku, The Gulf Observer: A delegation led by Abdul Razzaq Al-Murjan, Vice-President for Training at Saudi Arabia’s Naif Arab University for Security Sciences and Director of the Cybercrime and Digital Evidence Center, visited Azerbaijan to strengthen bilateral ties in military education and training, the Ministry of Defense announced.
During the visit, the Saudi delegation met with several high-ranking officials, including Major General Arif Hasanov, Deputy Rector of the National Defense University for Science and Rector of the Military Scientific Research Institute, and Colonel Nizami Movlanov, Chief of the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army.
The delegation was provided with comprehensive insights into the Azerbaijan Army’s educational system and the ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing military education. A video detailing the Azerbaijan Army’s participation in the Patriotic War was presented to the guests, offering them a glimpse into the country’s military history and achievements.
Discussions during the meeting focused on expanding cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan in the realm of military education. The two sides also addressed various issues of mutual interest, reinforcing their commitment to enhancing strategic partnerships.
As part of the visit, the delegation toured the Azerbaijan Army Training Center, where they observed the facility’s training camps, shooting ranges, and simulator sections, gaining firsthand experience of the cutting-edge training technologies in use.
The visit marks a significant step in the continued strengthening of military and educational relations between Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan.
