Saudi FM Participates in Key Ministerial Meetings on Somalia and Turkiye

Cairo, The Gulf Observer: In a demonstration of unwavering commitment to regional stability and collaboration, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan, actively participated on Wednesday in a pivotal meeting of the Ministerial Working Group dedicated to supporting Somalia in safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity. This significant event was reported by the Saudi Press Agency.

Chaired by Somalia’s Acting Foreign Minister, Ali Mohamed Omar, the meeting brought together diplomatic representatives to address critical issues concerning Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial boundaries. The discussions aimed to formulate collaborative strategies and solutions to fortify the nation’s stability.

In addition to his engagement with the Ministerial Working Group on Somalia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan recently took part in another crucial gathering – the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee focused on monitoring Turkish interventions in the internal affairs of Arab countries. The session, held on the sidelines of the 161st session of the Arab League Council in Cairo, was presided over by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.

Both meetings emphasized the paramount importance of enhancing Arab collaboration on matters of mutual concern while upholding the sovereignty of member states in strict accordance with international laws and conventions. The discussions also delved into the latest regional and international developments, shedding light on the collective efforts being exerted to navigate these complex dynamics.
