Saudi King, Crown Prince condole with President of Pakistan over Peshawar incident

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a cable of condolences to President Dr. Arif Alvi of Pakistan over the victims of the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in Peshawar, resulting in scores of deaths and injuries.

In his cable, the King said, “We have received news of the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in the city of Peshawar, northwest of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, resulting in deaths and injuries.

“As we condemn and denounce in the strongest terms this criminal act, we share with Your Excellency the pain on this calamity, while affirming the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and expressing to you and the families of the victims and to the fraternal people of Pakistan, our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy. We wish the injured a speedy recovery, and ask Allah the Almighty to protect your country and its fraternal people from all harm and misfortune.”

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has also sent a cable of condolences to President Dr. Arif Alvi on the tragic incident.

“As I condemn and denounce this criminal act, I send to Your Excellency, the fraternal people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the families of the victims my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy, while wishing the injured a speedy recovery,” the Crown Prince said in his message.
