Saudi Shoura Council Speaker Meets Indonesian Parliamentary Leader in Riyadh

Riyadh, The Gulf Observer: Speaker of the Saudi Shoura Council Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sheikh held an official meeting on Monday with Ahmad Muzani, Speaker of Indonesia’s People’s Consultative Assembly, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors.

During the meeting, both sides explored ways to enhance parliamentary collaboration and addressed several issues of mutual interest, reaffirming their commitment to deepening the long-standing ties between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia.

Welcoming his Indonesian counterpart and the accompanying delegation, Dr. Al-Sheikh emphasized the significance of such high-level exchanges in consolidating the robust relations between the two nations. He highlighted the growing role of parliamentary diplomacy in advancing shared priorities and reviewed the Kingdom’s progress in legislative development, investment, and national transformation under its wise leadership.

For his part, Muzani expressed gratitude for the warm reception and conveyed his appreciation for the opportunity to visit the Kingdom. He underscored the deep-rooted historical ties between the two countries and praised the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. He commended their continued efforts in serving Islam and Muslims worldwide, as well as the facilities provided to pilgrims and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to further strengthen cooperation and enhance parliamentary engagement in support of shared goals.
