SCCI Concludes Successful Participation in Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2024

Sharjah, The Gulf Observer: The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) successfully wrapped up its two-day participation in the “Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2024,” held at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park from 3rd to 4th February. The festival, themed “Together, We Shape the Future,” witnessed active engagement from the SCCI, represented by the Small and Medium Enterprises Centre (Tijarah 101).

Inaugurated by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (SHERAA), along with esteemed government officials and global business leaders, the festival provided a dynamic platform for fostering entrepreneurial spirit and innovation.

During the festival, Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi honored the Sharjah Chamber for its significant role, recognizing its valuable contributions. The accolade was presented to Raghda Taryam during a ceremony that underscored the SCCI’s commitment to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation.

As part of its active involvement, Sharjah Chamber participated in a panel discussion led by Aisha Saleh, emphasizing the importance of nurturing young entrepreneurs to fortify the business landscape. Saleh stressed the SCCI’s commitment to supporting the aspirations of young entrepreneurs through innovative initiatives, essential training, and exposure to best practices. The SCCI showcased its support services, provided through “Tijarah 101,” and highlighted innovative projects aimed at encouraging SME owners.

Mohammad Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, reiterated the Chamber’s role as a key partner in the success of economic events in Sharjah, emphasizing its dedication to social responsibility and the advancement of entrepreneurial growth across all sectors.

Director of Tijarah 101, Mona Omran Ali Omran, highlighted the center’s crucial role in supporting young entrepreneurs. She noted that the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival provided an invaluable opportunity to showcase the pivotal role played by “Tijarah 101,” offering a wide range of services from training to consulting, financing, marketing, and communication in collaboration with strategic partners from the public and private sectors.

Members of Tijarah 101 actively participated in the festival’s activities, engaging in dialogue sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities. This participation further strengthened cooperation and partnerships while sharing SCCI’s experiences in supporting entrepreneurship and developing the skills of emerging entrepreneurs. The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival marked another successful chapter in fostering Sharjah’s dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem.
