Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar honours Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram

Peshawar, The Gulf Observer: On 11 June 2024, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar honored Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram with the prestigious “Citation of Honor” in recognition of his invaluable contributions to the establishment of the Regional Connectivity Centre (RCC). The award was presented by the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province and Prof. Dr. Safia Ahmad, Vice Chancellor of the University.

The RCC is aiming to foster cooperation with countries connected through the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram’s unwavering dedication has been instrumental in setting up this center, which will serve as a hub for research, cultural exchange, and academic collaboration among regional countries.

Mr. Khalid’s support and guidance will be pivotal to continuing the Regional Connectivity Centre’s (RCC) research projects to strengthen regional partnerships and collaborations. This collaboration is expected to advance the university’s priorities and foster the growth of regional connectivity and contributing to the progress and prosperity of the region.
