Shavkat Mirziyoyev Arrives in Moscow for CIS Summit

Moscow, The Gulf Observer: President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived in Moscow today for a working visit, where he was welcomed at Vnukovo International Airport by Russian Federation Presidential Assistant Maxim Oreshkin and other high-ranking officials.

President Mirziyoyev’s visit comes ahead of the key events of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Summit, set to take place on October 8, 2024. The summit will focus on critical issues pertaining to the further development of multilateral cooperation among member states of the CIS.

The agenda for the CIS Summit includes discussions on strengthening economic, political, and social ties within the Commonwealth, as well as addressing pressing regional and global challenges. Leaders from various CIS countries are expected to attend and participate in the discussions aimed at deepening collaboration and mutual support among the member nations.
