Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Putin hold telephone conversation

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: Current issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed during the telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, on Monday.

The Russian Leader cordially congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, prosperity, and success in state activities for the sake of sustainable development and prosperity of Uzbekistan.

The heads of the two states discussed further enhancing mutually beneficial trade-economic and investment cooperation, maintaining the dynamics of trade turnover, and promoting significant industrial cooperation projects.

The importance of continuing fruitful contacts and exchanges at the interregional level was also noted.

Views were exchanged on the current issues of the regional agenda.
