Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits Alutex enterprise in Tashkent
Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the activities of the Alutex enterprise in Tashkent’s Sergeli district on Friday.
Much attention in Uzbekistan is paid to the development of alternative energy. In particular, large-scale work on installing solar panels has been launched. This increases the demand for aluminum profiles.
In May this year, Alutex LLC launched a project to produce aluminum profiles for windows and solar panels. The enterprise can produce 30 thousand tons of aluminum profiles of more than 350 types annually.
The Head of state got acquainted with the production process and products of the plant.
“We are planning to build solar and wind stations with the world’s leading companies with a total capacity of more than 15 gigawatts”. Green energy is a ready market with great opportunities for our producers. Quality is the only main requirement”, the President said.
The company has modern equipment from Italy, South Korea, and Türkiye. As a result, 400 new jobs were created. Production of another 130 new types of aluminum profiles will begin in September. Products will be supplied abroad along with import substitution.
