Shehbaz Sharif Visits Azerbaijan Embassy to Offer Condolences on Aktau Airplane Crash

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan on Thursday to offer condolences to Ambassador Khazar Farhadov over the tragic loss of lives in an airplane crash in the Aktau region of Kazakhstan.

During the visit, the prime minister prayed for the departed souls and for strength and patience for the bereaved families. He also wished a swift recovery for the injured.

Expressing solidarity, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the people and government of Pakistan stand firmly with their Azerbaijani brothers and sisters during this difficult time. He emphasized the strong fraternal ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, rooted in shared religious and cultural values.

Ambassador Farhadov thanked the prime minister for his heartfelt visit and acknowledged the high regard Azerbaijan holds for Pakistan’s unwavering support during this moment of grief.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi accompanied the prime minister during the visit.
