Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, EU High Representative Discuss Regional Developments and UAE–EU Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, on Thursday discussed the latest developments in the Middle East during a telephone conversation with Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
According to an official statement, the two sides exchanged views on the overall regional situation and reviewed ways to enhance efforts aimed at consolidating peace and stability in the region, while laying the foundations for sustainable development that benefits its peoples.
During the call, Sheikh Abdullah and Kallas also reviewed UAE–EU relations and explored avenues to strengthen cooperation across a range of fields, in line with the strong and growing partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the European Union.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his appreciation for the continued development of relations with the EU, reaffirming the UAE’s aspiration to expand joint action that enhances strategic cooperation and supports the advancement of economic and development partnerships between the two sides.
