Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Chairs Ministerial Development Council Meeting to Review Government Policies and Legislative Initiatives

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Development Council at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi to review the implementation of various government policies and programmes.
During the meeting, the Council examined a number of proposed projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency across multiple sectors in the UAE. It also evaluated strategies submitted by federal entities concerning national healthcare and nutrition, reflecting the government’s continued focus on improving public services and quality of life.
The Council further discussed updates on economic integration initiatives and the development of cultural and creative industries, as well as efforts to expand the participation of Emirati professionals in regional and international organisations.
On government affairs, members reviewed proposed federal legislative projects designed to regulate services for the Ministry of Education and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP). The Council also deliberated on regulatory decisions related to family businesses and the national tax framework, underscoring the UAE’s commitment to strengthening governance and supporting sustainable economic development.
