Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Discuss UAE Security and Regional Developments

Dubai, The Gulf Observer: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, during a gathering held at Al Marmoom in Dubai.

During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged cordial conversations and offered prayers for the continued protection of the United Arab Emirates, as well as for the security and stability of the country and its people.

Discussions also focused on the nationwide efforts undertaken by the UAE’s military and civil institutions to safeguard national security and ensure the safety of citizens and residents amid ongoing regional tensions and what officials described as blatant Iranian aggression.

Their Highnesses reaffirmed that the UAE will remain a haven of safety and stability, emphasizing that the country possesses both the determination and institutional capability to overcome challenges through the unity of its society and the efficiency of its national institutions.

They also praised the role of the UAE’s armed forces and commended the dedication of military institutions, security services, and relevant teams for their efforts in defending the nation and protecting its territory, citizens, residents, and visitors.

During the visit, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed attended an Iftar banquet hosted in his honour by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The meeting and the Iftar banquet were also attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence; H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President.

Several other sheikhs, ministers, and senior officials were also present at the gathering.
